Every fall, the trees in our yard host a flock of yellow-rumped warblers. They are here eating aphids that are swarming in the fall air. The pesky aphids are really thick! Sometimes it's hard to breathe without breathing in an aphid. Yuck! Cough! Eat hearty, little warblers! I love these little birds - they are so pretty, and lively, and make cheery little chirpy sounds. They don't warble this time of year. Warbling is a nesting thing.
